HISTORY

According to municipal building records, St. Brendan's School was built in 1930 on 9th avenue, east side, between Rosemount Blvd and Bellechasse, behind the old school, to serve the growing Rosemount population. There was the "OLD" St. Brendan's School at the corner of 9th and Rosemount Blvd that remained in use into the 1960's before it was torn down. As the school population decreased the school name was moved to another school on 39th avenue between Beaubien and St. Zotique. The original school was renamed L'école Sans-Frontières
