Welcome graphic

Growing up in the 1950s and 1960s was a rather innocent experience marked by neighbourhoods with familiar institutions and people. Those of us who grew up in the area bounded by 11th Avenue(before it became St. Michel Blvd), Masson, Bourbonniere and Rosemount Blvd. went to Drummond, St. Brendan's or St. Francois Solano elementary schools. After school, a number of us, including classmates and friends from outside the area, would head to the Rosemount Boys Club for various activities before heading home for supper. Many would return after supper or on Saturdays.

This website is a work in progress. Any contribution, information, images(jpg format), anecdotes, data that may be posted will make the site better. Eventually we will strike a balance between eras, interests, groups, etc. Presently we are pleased to launch a start-up site, confident that your interests and contributions will take things along the proper path.

Thank you for visiting. Enjoy.
